Ben Bertei was part of the crew that opened sAme sAme before heading south to run Kiin in Adelaide. For one night he comes back and takes the menu outright.

That history gives this more weight than the average guest slot. A chef returning to a room he built, with a few years of his own restaurant behind him, is a different proposition from a visiting name cooking a set menu and leaving.
